Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This policy applies to purchases made through cericmethod.com — self-paced online courses, and deposits for workshops and institutional programs. Placing an order means you accept these terms. Where a signed program agreement says something different, that agreement governs.
Online courses
Full refund within 30 days — course not started
If you have not opened any lesson, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. No reason is required.
Started, but less than 25% complete
If you have begun the course but completed fewer than 25% of its lessons, you may still request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Progress is measured by the lesson completion recorded in your course dashboard, which is the same figure you see on your profile page.
After 25% completion, or after 30 days
Once you have completed 25% or more of a course’s lessons, or once 30 days have passed since purchase, the sale is final and no refund is available. Course materials — worksheets, cheat sheets and templates — are downloadable and cannot be returned, so substantial completion is treated as delivery.
Bundles
The Complete Bundle is treated as a single purchase. The 25% threshold is applied across the bundle as a whole, and individual courses within a bundle cannot be refunded separately.
Free courses
Free courses carry no charge and are not covered by this policy.
Access ends when a refund is issued
When a refund is approved, enrolment is removed and access to the course and its materials ends.
Workshops and institutional programs
Deposits
A deposit of 50% of the program fee reserves your dates; the balance is invoiced separately under your program agreement. Deposits are fully refundable when written notice of cancellation is received at least 90 days before the scheduled program start date. Email is sufficient written notice; the date we receive it is the date that counts.
Cancellation inside 90 days
Within 90 days of the start date the deposit is no longer refundable, because the dates and preparation time have already been reserved for you. It remains transferable: the full deposit may be applied to a rescheduled program delivered within 12 months of the original date. One transfer per deposit.
Rescheduling rather than cancelling
If you move a program to a new date at least 90 days in advance, and the new date falls within 12 months, the deposit carries over in full with no penalty.
Balance and other fees
Payment terms for amounts beyond the deposit — including travel, accommodation and materials costs already committed on your behalf — are set out in your program agreement.
If we cancel
If CERIC Method cancels or postpones a program, you may choose either a full refund of everything paid, including the deposit, or transfer to a new date at no additional cost.
Always refunded in full
Regardless of the timelines above, we refund in full when:
- you were charged twice for the same purchase;
- you were charged for something you never received access to;
- a technical fault prevents access and we cannot resolve it within 10 business days.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with:
- the name and email address used at purchase;
- your order number, from the confirmation email;
- what you purchased;
- a brief reason — optional for courses you have not started.
We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and give a decision within 5. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days; how quickly the money appears depends on your bank or payment provider. We cannot refund to a different account or payment method than the one used.
If something has gone wrong with an order, please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank — we can almost always resolve it faster directly.
